Couple getaway, pure comfort

We had a fantastic time with Katie and Tim as our hosts. The little touches in the room made us feel like home, and the breakfast was an unexpected delight that set us up for the day.

It wasn't exactly pocket change but manageable.

There were significant downsides. The kitchen was out of commission during my stay, so breakfast wasn’t an option. The room, while visually appealing, had a strong perfume smell from the air freshener, and the lack of windows made it feel quite closed off. access was tricky due to a high step at the entrance, which was a pain for my arthritic knees and wasn't what I had in mind when I opted for ground floor access.
